VIRGINIA HICKS Virginia Hicks, 91, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, March 
21, 2007. She was born Aug. 25, 1915, in Wichita, Kan., and resided in Nevada 
for 50 years. Virginia was a commercial insurance account executive at Cutler 
Insurance Agency throughout her career. Clients she served included Clark 
County, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and McCarran 
International Airport. During her retirement she was a regular volunteer for 
the LDS Church Family History Society here in Las Vegas. Ginny's philosophy and 
love of life were evident to the very end of her time as she worked daily to 
help others at the El Jen Retirement Center where she lived. An avid reader, 
she would pass large print novels to her resident neighbors. Indeed, Virginia 
Hicks could be said to have made the most of limited resources and a positive 
attitude. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; and a legion of 
friends. She is survived by yet another legion of friends and will be missed by 
all. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, at the San Miguel 
Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Las Vegas.
