C. HORSEY DEAD AT 73

	Pioneer southern Nevadan and prominent businessman Charles Lee 
Horsey, Jr., 73, died Tuesday.

	Born in Wilmington, Del., on May 31, 1904, he moved to Pioche in 
1904.  After graduating from Harvard Military School in Los Angeles, Calif., 
he attended the University of Nevada, Reno for three years.

	He move dto Las Vegas in 1941, and founded Horsey Insurance 
Agency and the Nevada Savings and Loan Association in 1955.  He was one 
of the founders of the Nevada State Bank and Sierra Construction Co. in 1959.

	Before his retirement in 1974, he was president of Home Savings 
Association.

	He is survived by (omitted)

	Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Friday at Palm Chapel with the Rev. 
Melvin Pedrul officiating.

	Palm Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
