William Robert "Bob" Horton, 634, died Wednesday in a local hospital.  He was a 
25-year resident of Las Vegas.

A Marine Corps veteran of World War II, he was born Aug. 21, 1924, in Notus, 
Idaho, and was a pipefitter in construction and retired member of International 
Brotherhood of Plumbers & Pipefitters Local No. 525.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughter, Penny; and sons, Robert and Sean, 
all of Las Vegas, and mother, Delta of Salem, Ore.

Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary.  Burial will be 
private.  In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to John 3:16 
Cook's Feed The Hungry Program or to the University Medical Center of Southern 
Nevada.
