 LAS VEGAS AGE - 9/8/1923

DIED

HOYT - At the home of B. R. Jefferson, Tuesday, September 4, 1923, 
Edwin L. Hoyt, aged 47 years.

The deceased has been a resident of Vegas for about two years, making 
his home with Mr. Jefferson on the ranch adjoining Las Vegas.    He has 
long been ill with diabetis, and apparently had a premonition of approaching 
death Monday, when he wrote directions to Mr. Jefferson, as to notifying 
his relatives and the disposition of his remains.

The deceased was born in New York state.  He leaves as surviving relatives 
one sister, Mrs. Sarah E. Strong, of Peekskill, N. Y., and his wife, Helen B. 
Hoyt, of the Max Sennett Studios, Los Angeles, from whom he had been 
separated for several years.

The remains were shipped Thursday to Peekskill, N. Y. for interment.
