MEMORIAL SERVICE SET FOR DR. ROBERT HULSE

A memorial service will be held Tuesday for Robert C. Hulse, a longtime Las 
Vegas physician who died April 16 in Munising, Mich.  He was 59.

Hulse received his M. D. at the University of Michigan Medical School in 1960 
and completed his internship  at Toledo Hospital.

He served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community 
Medicine at the University of Nevada Medical School in Reno.

Hulse moved to Las Vegas in 1964 and worked as a family practitioner for more 
than 20 years.  From 1964 to 1966, he served as a physician at the Nevada Test 
Site.

In 1986, he set up a private practice doing general family and obstetrical 
medicine.  In 1977, he joined Southwest Heart Associates which, due to his 
addition, was renamed Southwest Medical Associates.

Hulse worked at the multi-specialty medical group as director of family 
medicine until he retired in 1986 and returned to  [ cut off]  in the Upper 
Peninsula of Michigan.  He was also the owner and vice president of Cadillac 
Brentwood Designs in Cadillac, Mich.

Hulse is survived by his wife, Anita; his four children, Casey, Clark, Heidi, 
and Jamie; three grandchildren, all of Munising, Mich.; and a brother, James 
A. Hulse of Shoreman, N.Y.
