David McKay Hymas passed away Friday Feb. 17, 2006. "Kay" was born April 21, 
1924, in Lanark, Idaho, to Ernest and Elnora Hymas. He married Betty Terkelson 
May 14, 1947, in the Salt Lake City Temple. Kay was a U.S. Naval veteran of 
World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents; six siblings; and son, 
Craig. Kay is survived by his wife, of 59 years, Betty; five children, Susan 
(Dale) Mann, Dave, Pamela (Joe) Herbst, Debra (Gary) Johnson, Melanie (Mark) 
Thummel; 22 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and sister, Lois. Visitation 
will be at noon Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. 
Private family services to follow at 1 p.m. Arrangements handled by Davis 
Funeral Home.
