Mr. JASSON was ill only about three days when he succumbed to an attack of pneumonia. He was a man of powerful physique, to whom illness was practically unknown and his sudden demise was entirely unexpected. He was a native of Scotland and during his younger days was a sea captain. He had lived in Vegas for the past 12 years and his strong personality and manly qualities made him many friends. The funeral services were held Tuesday at the undertaking chapel of the Las Vegas Undertaking Co., Rev. J. L. COLLINS officiating. Interment was in the city cemetery. We sincerely regret the loss of this good citizen, by whose passing Vegas loses one of her most notable characters.
