This young man was called to be with his Father in Heaven July 17, 2004, in Las Vegas, following a bicycle ride with some of his bicycling friends. Brian resided in Las Vegas for the past five years where he built orthotics and prosthetics. He resided in Spokane, Wash., for 31 years commencing in July 1973, and graduated from Shadle Park High School and Spokane Falls Community College. Our loving, joking, trickster, Brian, is survived by his father, Ben R. Jeffords; mother, Helen G. Jeffords; and brothers, Steve R. Jeffords, all of Nine Mile Falls, Wash., James R. Jeffords and his wife, Tami, of Clarkston, Wash.; nephew, Tyler D. Jeffords of Honolulu; Nicholas Arnot of Spokane, Wash.; paternal grandmother, Jewell Fonner of Mayfield, Ky.; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many wonderful friends. Brian also is survived by his constant companion and love, Gabriella (Gabby) Dexter; and his two buddies, Baba and Gretchen, their two poochies of Las Vegas. Brian loved living life to the fullest. Some of Brian's greatest joys were his outings with Gabby, Baba and Gretchen, his triathlons and Iron Man races. We hope, Brian, that you find some of the greatest biking, running and hiking trails ever in your Heavenly Kingdom. We will miss you with all our hearts and think of you each and every day and of the love, joy and caring you gave us. In our thoughts of our times together, we will always remember your great sense of humor, beautiful smile, hearty laughter and, of course, the artistic way in which you could load a buffet plate. Our love will always be with you our son, our brother, our uncle, our cousin, our friend, our love. Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 22, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 4202 N. Belt, Spokane, Wash., with Pastor Robert Chenault as officiant. Interment will be at Greenwood Memorial Terrace, 211 N. Government Way, Spokane, Wash.
