JOHNSON, aged thirty years. Mr. JOHNSON, who was a brother of Mrs. Walter R. BRACKEN of this city and who resided here for some time, was instantly killed by electricity. It is supposed that in some manner he came in contact with a high tension line, although none of the particulars beyond the bare fact that his death was caused by electricity is yet known here The deceased is the son of Hiram JOHNSON, a merchant of Eureka, Nev., where he was born and where much of his early life was spent. Recently he has spent considerable time in Las Vegas, leaving here about six months ago to accept employment with the Gold Roads Mining Co., at Kingman, Arizona. Here he was in charge of the work of exploding the blasts by means of electricity and his death doubtless came while he was performing his duties. Many friends of the deceased throughout Nevada will feel sorrow at the sad news of the death of Arthur JOHNSON and especially in this city where he resided so recently will his death be mourned. Mr. and Mrs. BRACKEN both have the sincere sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
