JOHNSON:  - Ludwig Johnson, foreman under the Jones-Howe Construction
Co., with headquarters at mile 410 in Meadow Valley Wash, died 
Thanksgiving Day at the front.  He was taken with a violent fit of coughing
while eating dinner, causing pleural hemorrhage from which death insued.  The
deceased was 31 years of age, a native of Sweden and well to do.  He had
made a start in Masonry, having taken the E. A. degree in Moun; Moriah Lodge
No. 24,F.& A. M. of Butte, Mont.  He was buried in this city Monday by
undertaker L. D. Smith.
