DIED

KINNEAR:  In Gilroy, California, Sunday night, August 27, Theodore 
KINNEAR, formerly of this city.
    The news of the sudden death from heart failure of one of our best 
known citizens was received here Monday and the brother, W. K. KINNEAR, 
accompanied by his wife, left the same evening for Gilroy.  The remains 
were shipped to the old home at Lexington, Kentucky for interment.
    The deceased has been associated with his brother in the management 
of the Las Vegas Drug Company for the past two years and was universally 
liked.  His illness was of but short duration, dating from but a short 
time before he left Vegas.  The deceased leaves a widow, having married 
in this city about a year ago. We express the sincere sympathy of the 
community at the sad affair.
