(Special Correspondence.)

    Bunkerville, August 21--Bunkerville is seldom visited by Father Time 
with his reap hook, but on August 18 he came and participated in one of 
the saddest events we have experienced here.
    Mrs. Alice Strasser KNIGHT, who has been a sufferer for the past 
year, and more especially the last few months, departed this life for 
the great beyond leaving a husband and a family of small children, the 
oldest being only about eleven years and the youngest a babe of a few 
months.
    The funeral was held in the Bunkerville meeting house, many friends 
participating.  The floral contributions were generous and beautiful.
Friends extend their sympathy and love to the bereaved husband and 
family.
