E. LACEY, aged 43 years. The cause of death was heart disease, the deceased having been afflicted with that trouble for some time. Becoming worse Thursday it was decided to take him to the coast. He was accompanied by Dr. H. L. HEWETSON and John W. HORDEN, and every possible care given him, but when the high altitude of Victorville was reached his heart was unequal to the strain and he passed away. The deceased was a member of Las Vegas Aerie 1213, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and his remains were met at Los Angeles by members of the Los Angeles Aerie 102, under whose auspices he was laid to rest. He was a single man and leaves surviving him a brother, C. E. LACEY of Columbus, who is, so far as known, his only near relative. Ed. LACEY has been a resident of Las Vegas during considerable of the time for the past five years and made many friends here by his congenial disposition and kindly qualities as a man.
