The news of the death of Mrs. LAUBENHEIMER will be a shock to many people of Las Vegas who formed her acquaintance while she was in this city last winter, visiting her son William LAUBENHEIMER. The cause of her death is said to be tuberculosis of the throat. Mrs. LAUBENHEIMER was in poor health when she came to this city but seemed to be much benefitted by her stay of several weeks. After leaving Vegas she went to Pasadena for a time, leaving there about May first for her home in Fairbury, accompanied by her son. She leaves surviving her, her husband, Peter LAUBENHEIMER, one son, William and two daughters. We understand that all were with her at the time of her death. The sincere sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved ones, especially to William LAUBENHEIMER who made many friends during his residence in Las Vegas.
