MURDER AT CALIENTE

    Caliente was the scene of a shooting scrape last Sunday, which 
resulted in the death of Tim MAHONEY, an engineer on the Caliente & 
Pioche railroad.  C. E. DAWSON, a fireman on the Salt Lake Route did the 
shooting.  The trouble of the men was of long standing and grew out of 
the relations alleged to have existed between MAHONEY and the wife of 
DAWSON.
    MC NAMEE & MC NAMEE have been employed by  DAWSON to conduct his 
defense.
