FRANK MANNIX DEAD

Frank P. MANNIX, for six years past treasurer of Nye county, died at his 
home in Tonopah Monday evening last from stomach and kidney troubles 
from which he has been ailing for a number of years.
    Mr. MANNIX came to Nevada in the rush of 1904, settling in Rhyolite 
where he established the Bullfrog Miner.  There being a vacancy in the 
treasurership of Nye county, Mr. MANNIX was appointed to fill the 
position and has twice since been elected to fill the same position.  He 
was a man of sterling qualities and his death will be keenly regretted 
by all who enjoyed his friendship.
