LAS VEGAS AGE

DIED

MARCHETTI:  In this city, Sunday, August 10, 1914, Mrs. Domenica 
MARCHETTI, mother of Mrs. John F. MILLER, aged 70 years.  Interment was 
in the Las Vegas cemetery.
    The deceased was born in Favia Canevese, Province of Lorino, Italy, 
in 1844 and was married to Domenico MARCHETTI in 1870.  Two years ago 
she came to America accompanied by a younger daughter, and visited 
relatives in several localities, and arrived in this city in March.  She 
soon became ill with dropsy, but displayed a heroic patience up to the 
time of her death.  The end was, as the beginning, most serene, her two 
daughters and Mrs. Bessie GAMBLE being present at the bedside.  The 
sorrowing ones have the deep sympathy of all.
