MARQUIS, aged 55 years. The deceased was being brought from Rhyolite for medical attention when death was caused by heart failure. He was accompanied on his last journey by Mrs. MARQUIS, and the remains were interred in the Vegas city cemetery today. The deceased was a native of Chatterton, New Brunswick. John M. MARQUIS has been a resident of Nevada for ten years and is well known throughout the southern portion of the state. He has been postmaster at Rhyolite for the past nine years. The sympathy of all goes out to the widow in her bereavement.
