DEATH OF JOHN MAY

	John May, aged 19, son of Mrs. Rose Kesler, died Tuesday 
night, Jan. 12, 1909 in this city, of pneumonia.
	The deceased had been ill but a short time and his untimely 
death comes as a severe shock to his family and friends.  In health he 
was strong and active-one whose call by the grim reaper would be least 
expected.  He was the chief support of his widowed mother and his loss 
leaves her with a large family of children to care for unaided.
	He was faithful and kindly in disposition and had a large 
circle of warm friends.
	The funeral was held Thursday afternoon at 2:00  Rev. W. C. 
Stone officiating.
