AGNES MAZIAR Agnes Maria Maziar, 85, went home to be with our Lord June 12, 
2013. She was born Aug. 21, 1921, in Chicago. Agnes assisted her husband, 
Melvin, with their drapery business in both Arcadia, Calif., and in Las Vegas 
for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-
grandmother who will be greatly missed. Agnes was preceded in death by her 
husband, Melvin; and her parents, Felix and Agnes Gorski. She leaves behind her 
son, Jack (Sherry) London; daughters, Judy (Michael) Armstrong and Patti 
Buckley; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 1-2 
p.m. Sunday, June 16, with funeral services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 
7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial following, at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
