LYDIA MEEK-GERHART Lydia Meek-Gerhart, 66, of Las Vegas, passed away Tuesday, 
March 20, 2007. Lydia Ruiz was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, Aug. 5, 1940. She was 
married to Gilbert Monreal and had two sons, Gilbert and Vincent, and one 
daughter, Desiree. She later married Jim Gerhart and they spent 25 happy years 
together. She was a caregiver to all and enjoyed spending her days with her 
friends and family. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Jim. Lydia 
is survived by her sisters, Josie, Carmen, and Lani; brothers, George and John; 
children, Desiree Charron, Gilbert and Vincent Monreal; her grandchildren, 
Carolyn, James and Michael Gerhart, Jason and Nick Charron, Joey, Mandy, 
Desiree and Journey Monreal; and her great-grandchildren Andrew, Alex and 
Austin Gerhart, Jason, Joshua and Alyssa Ramadan. She was very rich with the 
love of her family. No services are scheduled.
