Clifton Merideth, 71, died Saturday in a local hospital.  He was a one-year 
resident of Las Vegas.

A retired petroleum truck driver, he was born 1/18/1919 in Argyle, Mich.

He is survived by his wife, Ann, of Las Vegas; sons, Arnold of Pontiac, Mich.; 
stepson, Fred Arnold of Dallas, daughter Doris Adams of Benson, N. C.; brother, 
Morris of Snover, Mich.; sister, Belva Tripp of Vista, Calif; six 
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
