SQUAW DIES

    An Indian woman known as "Nats" died at the ranch Tuesday of 
typhoid.  She has been a county patient for some time and was buried at 
the expense of the county.  The Indians, it appears, had all deserted 
the sick woman and she died alone except for a Mexican who had been 
employed to nurse her and with whom she was unable to converse.
