NAY, respected resident of the valley")

    Mrs. Mary Lorena NAY of this place departed this life Nov. 12 and 
was buried today in the city cemetery.  The services were held at ten 
o'clock today under the direction of Bishop W. A. WHITEHEAD.  Elders 
Fred BISCHOFF, Crayton JOHNSON and Stake Pres. W. L. JONES spoke at the 
services.
    Mrs. NAY was the wife of Sylvester NAY and the daughter of William 
PERKINS, Sr. and Rachel LAUB and was born Oct. 4, 1888, at St. George, 
Utah.
    On June 4, 1906, she married Sylvester NAY and three children have 
been born to them, Vesta, Sylvester Burdette and Mary Ellen the 
youngest, being but twelve days old at the time of her death.
    She is survived by her father, three sisters and six brothers, all 
of whom reside here.  She was not thought to be seriously ill until the 
day before her death and her death comes as a surprise and shock to her 
many relatives and friends.
    She was an excellent wife and mother and was loved and respected by 
all who know her.  Mr. and Mrs. Morley NAY of Las Vegas were over to 
attend the funeral and will take care of the infant for the present.

NOTE:  The baby, Mary Ellen, died 2/9/1913.  She is unnamed in her own 
obituary.  Mary Lorena NAY is interred in the Pioneer Hill Cemetery in 
Overton, according to the index listing for that cemetery.
