The details of the lamentable affair received up to the time of going to press are very meager but the general belief seems to be that the shooting was accidental. Mr. ORR was night policeman of Pioche, having been in that position for some months. He was one of the old and most respected citizens of the county of Lincoln. So far as is known he had no troubles which would lead him to suicide and was not addicted to the use of liquor. His wife and daughter were visiting in Los Angeles at the time of the accident and hurried to Pioche upon receiving the news. Beside the wife and daughter, the surviving members of the family are William E. ORR, county clerk of Lincoln county and another son, Roy ORR.
