Page, Employe of Virginia & Gold Hill Water Co., Dies at Ripe Age George W. Page, a pioneer resident of this section, died last night about midnight at his home in Silver City after being in poor health for over a year. He had been rapidly failing --, and the end came after every effort had been made to give him relief. Mr. Page was 78 years of age, and was one of the oldest employees of the Virginia and Gold Hill Water company having been stationed of late in that town. He had been a resident of this region since the early days and most of the time employed by the water company in various capacities. He was one of the sturdy pioneer stock thus grew up with this country and was ever faithful and loyal in the performance of his duties. He is survived by one brother Joseph Page of Richwood, Missouri and a niece who lives in Butte City. She was informed of the death of her uncle and left immediately for Silver City. Funeral services will take place upon her arrival—Virginia Chronicle File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/nv/clark/obits/page918gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/nvfiles/ File size: 1.7 Kb
