His brother, Willie Parker, 85, died Saturday. They were residents of Las Vegas since 1942. Julius was an Army veteran of World War II. He was born March 25, 1909, in Thomastown, La., and was a truck driver in civil service and member of Greater New Jerusalem Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge. Willie was born March 27, 1907, in Greenville, Miss., and owned a sand and gravel company. He was a member of the Christian Pilgrim Society and was also a member of Greater New Jerusalem Baptist Church. Julius is survived by his wife, Mable; and daughter, Paula Branch, both of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren. Willie has no immediate family survivors. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday in Bunker Mortuary. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the church, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
