A member of the Masonic order, the Eastern Star, the Elks, Phoenix 330, he was a leading spirit in the good works of all. Most sad, indeed, is the loss to the sorrowing family. He leaves surviving him his widow, Margaret LANCASTER PAUFF, two sons, Harry and Arthur, aged about eleven and nine years respectfully, his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Peter PAUFF, a brother, Owen PAUFF, and a sister, Mrs. T. E. FREDERICKS. To the stricken ones we can only express our profound sorrow and deepest sympathy, with the hope that in their anguish there may come to their hearts the comfort of the thought, "He knoweth all things best.
