	Arthur J. Pede, 71, died Sunday in a local hospital.
	An Army veteran of World War II, he was born November 6, 1922, in Jersey City, N. J.  He was a toll road supervisor and was a 14-year resident of Las Vegas.
	He is survived by [omitted]
	Memorial Mass will be celebrated 3 p.m. Thursday in St. Francis de Sales Church.  Nevada Funeral Service handled the arrangements.  The family requests donations be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association.
