DIED

PETTIT:  In this city, Monday evening, January 19, 1914, Mrs. Susan F.
PETTIT, mother of E. E. PETTIT, aged 81 years and six months.
    Short services were conducted at the chapel by Rev. E. A. PALMER and 
the remains taken to the depot to be transported to the old home at 
Kingston, Wis. for interment.  E. E. PETTIT, son of the deceased, and E. 
E. PETTIT, Jr. accompanied the remains on their last journey.
    Mrs.PETTIT has been a resident of this city for about five years, 
but owing to her advanced age and poor health was known to but few of 
our people.  She was a woman of the attainments and although she has 
been very feeble during the past year her death leaves a void in the 
family which can never be filled.  The sympathy of the entire community 
goes out to the sorrowing sons.
