PINKNEY LOSES LIFE Thursday afternoon at the Home Ranch about six miles west of Moapa the three year old son of James PINKNEY was burned so severely that he died within a few hours. The child was playing in the tent when the father, who was a short distance away, noticed that the tent was on fire. He made all possible speed to the spot only to find that the baby was frightfully burned. The poor little fellow was brought to Las Vegas by the anguished father, but died in the father's arms after leaving the train and before he could reach the hospital. The funeral was held at the Griffith undertaking parlors Friday afternoon. The case was a very sad one.
