Ruby Richardson Rankin, of Alamo, passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at 
Mountain View Hospital. Ruby was born June 9, 1940, to John and Ruth 
Richardson. Ruby grew up in Blue Diamond and graduated from Rancho High School. 
She married Bud Rankin on June 6, 1958. They lived together in Las Vegas, where 
they raised their sons, and moved to Alamo in the 1990's. She is survived by 
her husband, Bud; her sons, Joey, Doug (Rochelle) and Rick (Michelle); her 
grandchildren, Kris, Megan, Katie and Ryan; and her siblings, Linda McCann and 
Glenn Richardson. Viewing will be 10-11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 16, with services 
following, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
