DIED IN LOS ANGELES

Mrs. Rivers, a colored woman who was well known in this city
was taken to Los Angeles for treatment for blood poisoning 
recently.  The malady had made too much headway before receiving 
attention however, and The unfortunate woman died after 
great suffering.
