T. IVES, who formerly lived here and later has been in Salida, Colo., in Salt Lake City Wednesday. Mr. RIVES is very well known here, having been a conductor on the Salt Lake passenger trains for several years. He has been ill for some time, the trouble having originated with pneumonia. Later, a tubercular disease of the leg developed, resulting in the loss of the leg some time since. Conductor C. M. MC GOVERN went to Salt Lake Wednesday night to attend the funeral. Mr. RIVES has hundreds of friends in this section, who sincerely mourn his untimely end.
