Dancing in Heaven now, Kelsey Jane Roberts, 6, of Las Vegas, lost her eight 
month battle with brain cancer with bravery, peace and dignity Thursday, July 
15, 2004. She was born July 9, 1998, in Las Vegas. Kelsey was devoted to her 
school, Robert E. Lake, her classmates, and especially her teachers, Ms. Shreve 
and Mrs. Kenny. She was a talented singer and dancer, who was very proud to be 
crowned "Queen" in a Starbound Pageant. She reveled in being a loving "mommy" 
to her puppy "Reyna." We want to thank Dr. J. Bernstein, Dr. R. Kline and their 
staff, and the entire fourth floor at Sunrise Children's Hospital, for all of 
the devotion, care and love they provided for Kelsey. We learned what life is 
really about from all of them. We ask that you help bring some light to a child 
surrounded by darkness, by giving a toy to Candlelighters of Southern Nevada. 
Kelsey is survived by her parents, Timothy and Gerelyn Roberts of Las Vegas; 
sister, Nicole Yvonne Mizner of Auburn, Calif.; brothers, Timothy Roberts Jr. 
of Cape May, N.J. and Carter Roberts of Haford, Calif.; grandparents, Nenita 
and Steve Larson of Las Vegas and Gail and William Alford of Klamath Falls, 
Ore.; godmother, Sabrina Markey of Las Vegas; godfather, Joey Zachanini of Las 
Vegas; and uncle, Robert Bushong of Las Vegas. Memorial services will be at 4 
p.m. Saturday, July 24, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.
