Joseph G. Rogers, 81, Oct. 16, 1922 to July 17, 2004. Beloved husband and 
father, passed away after a long illness in the hospital. Joseph retired from 
Ford Motor Company and resided in Las Vegas for 15 years. He leaves behind a 
wife of 60 years, Verne Rogers; son, Earl Rogers; daughter, Linda Hazeny of Las 
Vegas; seven grandchildren, Mark Hazeny of Las Vegas, Amy and Allan Rogers of 
Georgia, Kim and Earl Jr. of Texas, Misty and Becky of Michigan; and eight 
great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 
with services following, both at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. 
Eastern Ave., conducted by Douglas Meyers of Warm Springs Baptist Church. 
Burial will be at Paradise Memorial Gardens. Entered into Eternal rest. Your 
loving smile, your gentle face. No one can fill your vacant place. We love you 
forever.
