Reno Evening Gazette November 18, 1882
Ross-at Glendale, Nov. 18, 1882, Mrs. D. A. Ross, wife of O. C. Ross, a native
of California, aged 28 years.  Funeral Monday at 1 o’clock, from family
residence at Glendale.

Freed from Pain
Mrs. D. A. Ross, the late wife of O. C. Ross, died this morning at 2 o’clock at
her home at Glendale of consumption.  Mrs. Ross had been sick for nearly two
years and has borne her illness with remarkable fortitude and courage.  She
leaves four little children motherless and a kind loving husband, who has the
sympathy of every one in the community.  The funeral will take place Monday from
the family residence at Glendale at 1 o’clock.  Friends and acquaintances are
invited to attend.
