MURDER AT LEITH

FRANK RUIZ, PROMINENT LOS ANGELES MAN, KILLED

    Last Sunday, Frank RUIZ was shot by a Mexican whose name is unknown, 
at Leith siding in Meadow Valley Wash.  The stricken man died Tuesday 
night at 8:15.  Undertaker L. D. SMITH was called from this city, and 
prepared the body for shipment.  Alfred RUIZ, father of the murdered 
man, arrived from Gallup, N.M., and accompanied the remains to Los 
Angeles Thursday.  The father is prosecuting attorney of the county in 
which he resides.  The dead man was well-to-do, leaving $5,000 life 
insurance besides a profitable business and other property.  The 
murderer has not been apprehended
