LAS VEGAS AGE
2/26/1910

DIED

    At the Kyle ranch, near this city, Feb. 19, 1910, at 3:30 a.m., 
George P. RUSSELL, aged 62 years.
    The deceased had been in apparently good health up to the time of 
his death.  Mrs. RUSSELL was awakened a short time before the death of 
her husband by his labored breathing.  Investigation showed that the 
stricken man was dying and he passed away without regaining 
consciousness.  The death certificate signed by Dr. H. L. HEWETSON gives 
the cause of death as heart paralysis.
    The funeral was held in Christ church, Revs. Harry G. GRAY and J. 
Mortimer SWANDER conducting the services.  The body was prepared for 
burial by Undertaker Lloyd D. SMITH and shipped to Los Angeles for 
interment.
    The deceased came to Vegas about two years ago from North Dakota, 
and was held in high esteem by his many friends in this city.  He leaves 
to mourn him his widow and a son, John RUSSELL, to whom the sympathy of 
the entire community goes out in this sudden sad bereavement.
