ROSALIE SCAFIDI Rosalie "Nana" Scafidi passed away the morning of Sept. 7, 
2015, after a long battle with cancer. Rose was a resident of Las Vegas for 
over 40 years and worked at the Las Vegas Hilton for over 35 years. Rose was 
the first female floor person in Las Vegas, a pioneer in the casino industry, 
opening up the way for other females to work in what was traditionally a man's 
job. Rose is survived by her husband; two loving children; daughter-in-law; son-
in-law; and two beautiful grandchildren who miss her very much. No services are 
scheduled. "Thank you Nana for all you have done and we know you will still be 
with us, watching over us. You will be sorely missed...."
