Patsy was born June 1, 1927, in Las Vegas. A proud Nevada native, Patsy lived most of her life in Henderson. Patsy held many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was known and loved for her piano playing in Relief Society, Primary, and Sunday School. Patsy was also known for her tireless work at the family-owned business, Scow's Western Auto/Radio Shack. Patsy married R L Scow Dec. 6, 1947, and they had seven children, Nancy (deceased), Kristina Mahaffey (Warren), Lisa Wilkins (Floyd), Eric Scow, Kurt Scow (Tammy), Gail Forsyth (Carl) and Howard Scow (Sherroll), all of Henderson. She is survived by her husband, R L; children mentioned above; 15 grandchildren; and six brothers and sisters, Dr. James Potter, Leon Potter, Delwin Potter, Jeanie Potter, LaVern Little and Alan Potter. Viewing will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 22, at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Additional viewing from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 23, with funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., both at the LDS Arrowhead Chapel, 801 Arrowhead Trail, Henderson, Services handled by Palm Mortuary Henderson.
