DIED

SHIER:  In this city, Wednesday, January 13, 1916, Edgar SHIER, aged 33 
years.
    The deceased was well known in this section, having lived most of 
his life in Lincoln county, at Delamar, Pioche and Caliente. He leaves 
surviving him, his father, John SHIER, who is now quite ill at his 
daughter's home in Rhyolite, and two sisters, Mrs. A. W. PARSONS of Salt 
Lake and Mrs. Frank LOCKMAN of Rhyolite.  Mrs. PARSONS and Mrs. LOCKMAN 
were here to attend the funeral, which was held from the undertaking 
chapel Thursday afternoon, Vegas Lodge No. 32, F. & A. M. conducting the 
services.
    The sympathy of many friends goes out to the mourners in their very 
sad bereavement.
