SKINNER DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER Bulah C. SKINNER, aged 74 years, wife of Geo. E. SKINNER, died Sunday, August 26, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. P. M. HOUSEMAN, at the Russell ranch near the city. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Funderal services were held Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Roberts' chapel, and were under the auspices of Oasis Rebekah Lodge No. 31, deceased being a member of the Rebekah Lodge at Nyssa, Oregon. Bishop C. C. RONNOW of the Church of Latter Day Saints offered prayer and delivered impressive remarks. Mrs. Bryan BUAKER at the organ, and a picked choir composed of Mrs. Ira EARL, Mrs. ZILLINS, Mrs. Sam CRANER, Miss Clarissa CRANER, Mrs. Roy NEAGLE and Mrs. Dan POTTER, rendered touching music. P. W. RUSSELL sang a solo, and the funeral service of the Rebekah Lodge was then carried out under the direction of Mrs. Wm. E. MOTT, noble grand of the local lodge. After services at the chapel the grave was dedicated by Bishop RONNOW. The pall bearers were A. R. ANDERSON, Leonard CARSON, H. M. LILLIS, P. W. RUSSELL, Wm. E. MOTT and W. F. RECTOR. Deceased was born in Iowa and on January 1, 1874, was married to George E. SKINNER. Mr. and Mrs. SKINNER made the trip overland to California following their marriage, and for a number of years made their home in the northern part of that State, later removing to Oregon. For the past several months, Mr. and Mrs. SKINNER had made their home with Mr. and Mrs. HOUSEMAN here. Besides the husband, deceased leaves two daughters and one son, Mrs. Clara C. HATFIELD of Klamath Falls, Oregon; Mrs. Ida HOUSEMAN of Las Vegas and Sidney SKINNER of Diamond, Oregon. Two sisters also survive, Mrs. Mattie HULBERT of Cloverdale, California, and Mrs. Clara BONHAM of Red Bluff.
