He was born Dec. 30, 1939, to Walter and Ruby Solders. James was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruby Joyce; and daughter, Torrie Grace. James is survived by his loving wife, of 51 years, Glenda; sisters, Donna and Nadine; daughters, Marie and Tracy; grandchildren, Krystal, Lacey, Tia, Dustin, Amanda, John and Allison; great-grandchildren, Abigail and Schyler; and extended family. James was a Clark County Firefighter for 33 years. In true firefighter style, you could always count on him for practical jokes. We know James is now in the "Big Rodeo in the Sky," with the best string of horses to choose from. "Rope and ride on James, you are loved and will forever be in our hearts." Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, at Palm Mortuary-Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89131.
