The services were held at the Methodist Episcopal church, and were conducted by Rev. W. H. STOCKTON and Rev. Leo C. KLINE, both of whom made the journey from Los Angeles to be here for the occasion. A large concourse of people were present to pay last tribute and take part in the impressive service. Many beautiful floral tributes were in evidence, expressing the high esteem in which the young man was held by his friends and school mates. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery. The pall bearers, schoolmates of the deceased, were Leonard HOBLITT, Fred WHITENECK, Carl RAN, Raymond LOCKETT, Fred LEE and Gerald CROWE. The honorary pallbearers, girls, also schoolmates, were: Christy MC DONALD, Emily LAKE, Vivian JOHNSON, Gertrude GEORGE, Virginia HORSEY and Lois MOTT. Ivan STEPHENS, at the time of his death, was president of the Junior class of Las Vegas High School, and was well loved by all who knew him, having the respect and friendship not only of his classmates, but on the entire community. In his freshman year at high school he led the honor roll of the school, as at this term up to the time of his death, which casts a gloom over the school and the large circle of friends of the family.
