 LAS VEGAS AGE - 12/29/1923

DIED

STEVENS - Christmas Eve at the home of his mother, Mrs. Margaret Singer, 
Ivan Stevens passed to the Great Beyond.
	This young man was ill but a few days and it is hard to realize that 
he has gone.  He was a member of the Junior class in the Clark County High 
School and was a young man of exceptional mental qualities.  He was also 
one of the Scoutmasters in the Boy Scouts, where his influence for good 
among the younger boys will be greatly missed.  The pall bearers were Fred 
Whiteneck, Leonard Noblitt, Carl Rau, Raymond Lockett, Gerald Crowe and 
Fredrick Lee.  The honorary bearers were Emily Lake, Vivian Johnson, Christy 
McDonald, Virginia Horsey, Lois Mott and Gertrude George.
	The floral tributes were many and beautiful and gave mute testimony 
of the love and respect his friends and classmates bore him.
