Survived by her loving husband of five years, Gary; her aunt, Sandra; and uncle, Charles Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Mildred Schwecki. As a graduate of Las Vegas High School, Elizabeth continued her education in San Francisco, returning to Las Vegas, where she lived most of her life. Elizabeth spent the past 16 years as a mobile ambassador, welcoming tourists to Las Vegas for Whittlesea Bell Cab Company. A very special thank you goes out to Dr. Maurice Pockey, Dr. Park and Dr. Gerald Dean, for your compassion and care. To all the wonderful people at Family Home Hospice and in particular, Joyce, thank you so very much. Cheryl Knapp and all the wonderful staff as Whittlesea, Elizabeth loved each and every one of you and your help has been enormous. Thank you. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the American Cancer Society. Cremation services have taken place. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3 at First Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 301 S. Maryland Parkway.
