HELEN TAPPAN

    Helen J. Tappan, 92, died Friday in a local hospital.

    A retired teacher, she was born March 31, 1902, in Woodburn, Iowa, and was a 38-year 
resident of Las Vegas.

    She is survived by[omitted]

    Services are private.  The family requests donations be made to Lydia Circle at Central 
Christian Church, 375 S. Mojave, Las Vegas, Nev., 89121.  Palm Mortuary-Henderson 
handled arrangements.
