G. THOMPSON, prominent attorney of Goldfield, and who had been identified with the growth of Southern Nevada, died in San Francisco last Friday morning, December 7, says the Reno Journal. THOMPSON was known throughout Nevada, and was president of the Nevada Fish and Game Protective League and was also prominent in fraternal circles. He had served one term as president of the State Aerie of Eagles and also as grand State representatie of that order. "Jack" THOMPSON, as he was best known, was born in California. Soon after his admission to the bar he removed to Nevada and located in Goldfield and with the boom of that camp he and his brother, I. S. THOMPSON, because identifed with some of the famous litiations of that period. The brother is now in Carson City trying a case in the Federal court.
