Las Vegas Sun - 6/23/1990
    Herbert Nelson THOMPSON, 76, of Las Vegas, died Wednesday in a local 

hospital.  He was born Aug. 13, 1913, in Middletown, Ohio.  A 12-year resident, 

he was an aircraft machinist and a World War II Army veteran.

    [survivors removed]

    Private services and burial are being arranged by Palm Mortuary, downtown.
